Usage Reduction Program (LIURP)
Both our Usage Reduction Program and our Emergency Furnace and Line Repair Program can help you to weatherize your home and reduce energy costs.
Our Usage Reduction Program (LIURP) is a weatherization program that helps customers reduce energy costs. To "weatherize" your home, we would help make your home more energy efficient, which will help you save money heating and cooling your home.
Here are just a few examples of weatherization measures: heating system improvements, attic and wall caulking, insulation, and weather-stripping.

Emergency Furnace and Line Repair Program
The Emergency Furnace and Line Repair Program is a part of the Usage Reduction Program. This program provides assistance to income eligible customers with furnace and houseline repair issues. Your household must meet the income guidelines below. The only additional requirement is that you must own your home.
