Beaver County was founded in the early 1800s. Over the past century, our company has gradually grown throughout the area, serving many customers throughout Beaver County and in adjacent communities. And the more we explore the region, the more there is to see! It doesn’t take long to realize that some of the best kept wedding venue secrets are right here in Beaver County.

Venues

Take the Beaver Station Cultural & Event Center, for example, on East End Avenue in historic Beaver. This location dates back to 1897, when it was a Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad passenger station. Today it has been restored into a vintage event space. Back in 2011, the waiting room was returned to its original grandeur and transformed into an elegant 2,500 square foot event center. Since the grand opening in late 2015, this venue has hosted more than 8,800 people as well as 110 events and weddings. This gem is perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony and then a gorgeous indoor reception. This venue is complete with a beautiful gazebo—the perfect place for any couple to say “I do.”

If you’re looking for a balance of tradition and pizazz, then Timberhouse is for you! Located at Rolling Acres Golf Course, this stunning rustic spot is perfect for a wedding reception. When you arrive, you walk through beautiful stained glass doors, reminiscent of birch trees. The interior of the building boasts of enormously high ceilings with antique chandeliers. The space can accommodate about 270 people, and still have ample space for a dance floor. Not only can you have a reception in Timberhouse, but you may also utilize the outside space for a cocktail hour. This gives you a chance to admire the amazing timber-frame woodwork that gave Timberhouse its name, as well as gaze out over the lake. If you want that “hidden away in the woods” feel, you’ll find it at Timberhouse.

Your perfect rustic oasis comes to life at The Gathering Place on Darlington Lake. This venue began as a private haven, where the owners hosted intimate gatherings at their log cabin home. Later, the family decided to open their home as a bed and breakfast, because they wanted others to experience all that the countryside has to offer. Today, not only can you stay the night, but you can also use this gorgeous facility for your wedding! The Gathering Places sits on 35 acres in historic Darlington, and ties together rustic elegance with contemporary luxury. The views overlooking the water are enough to take your breath away.

Ever since we moved into Beaver County, it’s always had a place in our hearts. The area is home to many small, family-owned businesses that the community has supported through the years. Once you get to know the place, you’ll quickly learn about all of these hidden gems for yourself.
