Emergency Hotline: 1.800.400.4271

24 hours a day / 7 days a week

What is an Emergency?

Gas leaks, an odor of gas, damaged lines, and carbon monoxide symptoms are all considered emergencies. If you have an emergency, call our emergency hotline at 1-800-400-4271 . Our personnel are ready to assist you 24/7. When in doubt, call us immediately.

If you smell gas, do not attempt to locate the leak. Instead, leave the house or building right away. Do not turn on or off any electrical switches, appliances, or lights, as an electrical charge could create a spark. When you are in a safe place, call the Peoples emergency hotline.

Our Volunteers Laced Up Their Walking Shoes for This Year's March for Babies

  • Our March for Babies Team

  • Our CEO Morgan O'Brien, kicking off Pittsburgh's March for Babies 2016.

"Fourteen years ago, my son was born 2 1/2 months early. He spent his first month in the West Penn hospital NICU. It was March of Dimes research that made it possible for Cole to come home. He has grown into a strong, healthy young man, and I am very proud of him. I want to help others that may experience this same situation, and that is why I walk." -Kimberly Buss, Peoples

This year, we want to extend a special thank you to our employee Kimberly Buss for sharing her touching story and for leading the March for Babies for our team. We were proud to walk alongside her and support this amazing cause.

According to the March of Dimes, 15 million babies are born prematurely around the world every year, and one million of them will die. The average medical cost for a healthy baby is $4,389. For a premature baby, it's $54,194. The March for Babies is just one of the ways that the March of Dimes is funding the work of hundreds of scientists who are working to help end premature birth. We are proud to support this effort.

Our Peoples team had a great time at this year's March for Babies. We raised over $10,000 to help support this fantastic cause. As a whole, the Pittsburgh March for Babies event collected almost $350,000. And with other walks going on across the country, people continue to come together to support the health of babies everywhere, one step at a time.
