Become a Supplier
To become an approved Natural Gas Supplier (NGS) operating in a Peoples’ service territory, you must meet the following requirements below.
1. You must first hold a valid PA PUC Supplier license for the service territory in which you wish to operate.

3. Submit your company’s most recent audited financial statements.
4. P1 Pool Operator must be approved on the following upstream pipelines:

5. Once Peoples receives the above information, we will inform the NGS of the amount and type of credit enhancement that would be necessary before the Pool is established.
6. After credit enhancement is posted, Peoples will draft a Pooling Agreement for execution between both parties.
- Sample Priority One Pooling Agreement
- Sample Non-Priority One Pooling Agreement
- Sample Local Gas Aggregation Agreement
7. After execution of the Pooling Agreements, NGSs will be required to complete Supplier Certification Testing.
8. Suppliers will need to submit commodity rates if applicable.
9. Once testing is complete and rates are set up, the NGS may start to enroll customers into its Pool.
