Emergency Hotline: 1.800.400.4271

24 hours a day / 7 days a week

What is an Emergency?

Gas leaks, an odor of gas, damaged lines, and carbon monoxide symptoms are all considered emergencies. If you have an emergency, call our emergency hotline at 1-800-400-4271. Our personnel are ready to assist you 24/7. When in doubt, call us immediately.

If you smell gas, do not attempt to locate the leak. Instead, leave the house or building right away. Do not turn on or off any electrical switches, appliances, or lights, as an electrical charge could create a spark. When you are in a safe place, call the Peoples emergency hotline.

    Pittsburgh Magazine's Ultimate House

Pittsburgh Magazine's Ultimate House 2016 is blazing a trail in home design, as this contemporary, luxury residence reshapes city living. Presented by Peoples, the 2500 Smallman development took a typical 1950s Strip District warehouse and transformed it into 11 spacious city homes that embody comfort and class. As one of these units, the Ultimate House incorporates sustainable materials and design to create the pinnacle of city living.

We are excited to take part in this project again this year. For so long, living in the city meant sacrificing space, comfort, and community, but the Ultimate House shatters this perception. The home also boasts of beautiful natural gas appliances that add to the efficiency of the home and support its sustainable concept.

The best part? You can see it all for yourself! This incredible multimillion-dollar home will be open to the public for tours in September, and all proceeds benefit The Free Care Fund at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Mark your calendars now, and be sure to check it out!
