Emergency Hotline: 1.800.400.4271

24 hours a day / 7 days a week

What is an Emergency?

Gas leaks, an odor of gas, damaged lines, and carbon monoxide symptoms are all considered emergencies. If you have an emergency, call our emergency hotline at 1-800-400-4271. Our personnel are ready to assist you 24/7. When in doubt, call us immediately.

If you smell gas, do not attempt to locate the leak. Instead, leave the house or building right away. Do not turn on or off any electrical switches, appliances, or lights, as an electrical charge could create a spark. When you are in a safe place, call the Peoples emergency hotline.

Did you ever think your cup of coffee would be worth $1,000? How about a $2,000 pizza? Or a $3,000 hoagie? Through the Peoples Eat, Drink, Help Program, we are making your everyday purchases go a long way.

Through this program, we partner up with a local business, and then that business chooses a local charity to receive a donation from Peoples. So whether it’s a burger or a bag of peanut brittle, when you make a purchase at one of these local businesses, Peoples makes a donation to a great charity.

This campaign started back in the spring of 2016, when we teamed up with Pennie's Bake Shop & Espresso Bar in Butler, PA. For every coffee purchased at Pennie's, we donated 50 cents to the VOICe (Victim Outreach Intervention Center) of Butler County. The VOICe provides confidential services at no cost to individuals and families who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes. Last May, we presented a $1,000 check to the VOICe of Butler County.

We were thrilled to see the people of Butler embrace this program, and we immediately began to expand it to more businesses in Butler and in other areas, including Pittsburgh’s North Side. In exchange, those businesses were able to pay it forward to more local charities of their choosing. This type of personal, “local to local” partnership gives us a chance to get to know the businesses that make your neighborhoods so special, and then helps us to channel our support directly to the causes that mean the most to the people in our region. Here is a list of the current partnerships we are supporting:

  • Pizza Plus (Butler) – Fishing for Memories

  • Crazy Mocha (North Side) – Urban Impact

  • Miller's Shoes (Beaver & Aliquippa) - Beaver County Humane Society

  • Goodfello's Pizza (Zelienople) - Zelienople Community Park

  • Wunderbar Coffee (Harmony) - The Strand Theater

  • Freedom Farms Donut Shop (Butler) - Special Olympics of Butler County

  • Logan Cafe (BC3 Main Campus) - BC3 Education Foundation

  • The Perfect Swing (Butler) - St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry

  • Starlight Drive-In (Butler) - It's About the Warrior Foundation

We also encourage you to keep an eye out for the upcoming partnerships in communities near you:

  • Mainstreet Bake Shop (Saxonburg) - South Butler Community Library

  • Delanie's Coffee (Pittsburgh) - Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council

  • Cafe Kolache (Beaver) - Adoption Connection PA

By directly pairing up local businesses with local charities, our Eat, Drink, Help Program supports neighborhood small businesses, empowers charities, and helps to build stronger communities. And with your help, we can continue to help make lives better in our region.
