Emergency Hotline: 1.800.400.4271

24 hours a day / 7 days a week

What is an Emergency?

Gas leaks, an odor of gas, damaged lines, and carbon monoxide symptoms are all considered emergencies. If you have an emergency, call our emergency hotline at 1-800-400-4271. Our personnel are ready to assist you 24/7. When in doubt, call us immediately.

If you smell gas, do not attempt to locate the leak. Instead, leave the house or building right away. Do not turn on or off any electrical switches, appliances, or lights, as an electrical charge could create a spark. When you are in a safe place, call the Peoples emergency hotline.

Peoples Gas approached Leadership Beaver County with an offer to support the program over the next 5 years. "Peoples is excited to be a Founding Partner of Leadership Beaver County," said Ed Palombo, Vice President of Reliability for Peoples and a board member for the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce. I'm confident that Leadership Beaver County will help develop the leaders that will play a role in building our region's future."

Peoples will also sponsor the tuition for one participant from a non-profit or small business (defined as 10 or less employees) for each Leadership Beaver County class over the next 5 years. "We couldn't be more appreciative and excited about their commitment to our vision and program," said Beaver County Chamber's Executive Director & President, Jack Manning. "We challenge every organization, large and small, for-profit, or non-profit to consider nominating someone to join our first cohort in September."
