Looking to find the perfect, unique gift for a loved one, friend, or coworker? Ready to soak in the holidays with some good food, entertainment, and sparkling sights? The Peoples Gas Holiday Market™ has it all!

Inspired by the original German Christkindlmarkts (or "Christmas Market"), the Peoples Gas Holiday Market™ brings a cherished European tradition to Pittsburgh with an international flair, a touch of local charm, and a pinch of sugar, spice, and everything nice. Drop on by Market Square in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh to see for yourself! As you weave through the Alpine-style wooden chalets, brimming with high quality gifts, you'll experience a one-of-a-kind holiday shopping experience.

NEW in 2023, Peoples will match the first $5,000 donated to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank at the Holiday Market on the Grand Opening Night, Friday, November 17. We’re also giving away limited-edition souvenir ornaments with a suggested donation to the Food Bank. Ornaments will be available while supplies last and the Food Bank booth is staffed. Get to the market between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on November 17 to give a gift and get your commemorative ornament!

Whether you come downtown to skate with your sweetheart around the Ice Rink, or visit Pittsburgh's Creche (the world's only approved replica of the Vatican's Nativity Scene) at the U.S. Steel Tower, your visit won't be complete without a stroll through the Peoples Gas Holiday Market™.

We love to see this city come alive with the bustle of the holidays, and we want you all to be a part of it. Do don't miss this chance to take in our beautiful city during the most wonderful time of the year! With a twinkle of lights, a few flurries in the air, and a warm drink in your hands, who knows...the Holiday Market might become a bit magical, if you just believe.

The Peoples Gas Holiday Market™ is once again nominated for America’s Best Holiday Market! Plan to visit beginning Friday, November 17, and vote for us, and for Pittsburgh at the holidays!

The Peoples Gas Holiday Market™ is open daily, except Thanksgiving, until Sunday, December 24. Visit the official Holiday Market page for full schedule of events, vendors, and fun holiday activities.

"We hope you will join us for this year's Peoples Gas Holiday Market™ in Market Square, which has become a treasured holiday tradition for many Pittsburgh families."
