 Please have your Peoples  account number (located on your remittance coupon) and your credit card or checking account information available when making an online payment.

Payments made before 4 PM EST Monday - Friday (except holidays) will be posted to your account that same day.  Payments made after that time will be posted on the next business day.

Payments made before 4 PM EST will be reported to Peoples in time to prevent any pending disconnection of service.  If you have received a termination notice and made a payment, please contact Peoples at 1.800.764.0111 .  Have your unique receipt number ready to give to the Customer Service Representative.

Mobile Payments

Peoples has made it as easy as 1-2-3 for you to pay your bill using your iPhone, Android smartphone or mobile device.:

  1. Register for Peoples e-Account online.
  2. Download the Peoples   e-Account app at the iStore orGoogle Play.
  3. Log into e-Account via your smartphone and follow the payment directions.

You can pay in-person at a number of locations  Follow the instructions for your state to find a location near you.

Pennsylvania

  • Go to the Check Free website.
  • Select “Peoples Natural Gas” from the "Please Select Biller" drop down menu 
  • Enter your Zip Code in the box
  • Enter the code shown
  • Click on the Submit button

West Virginia/Kentucky

  • Go to the Western Union website
  • Check the box marked "Payments"
  • Enter your Zip Code in the box
  • Click "GO"

 

Automatic Bank Draft

Never write Peoples another check! Sounds too good to be true? It’s not – if you sign up for our free Automatic Bank Draft (ABD) program. With ABD, Peoples deducts the amount of your monthly gas bill directly from your checking or savings account. No check writing, buying stamps, mailing or paying in person. And… you can choose the most convenient payment date.

When does Peoples process my payment? Anywhere from 11 to 21 days after billing. You tell us the number of days after billing you’d like us to process your payment. For example, if you choose 12 days, we will draft your payment on or after the 12th calendar day following each bill date.

After enrolling, how will I know when I can stop writing checks? We will print a special message on your bill indicating the date we will draft your bank account. Your monthly bank statement will show your account number and the amount and date of the bill payment.

What if I change banks or move? We need to know in either case. If you change banks, you must notify us and complete a new enrollment form to stay in the ABD program. If you move, we also need to know so you can continue to receive the benefits of the ABD program at your new location.

Can I stop payment or stop participation in the program? Yes. To stop a payment, notify us before the payment date indicated on your bill. Then simply pay that bill by check. To stop participation in the ABD program for a period of time, simply call us. To restart, you may re-enroll by calling us. Please be sure to contact us – not your bank – if you want to suspend a draft or drop from ABD.

How do I enroll? Just print and return the completed tear-off enrollment form with your signature authorizing us to deduct monthly payments from your bank account along with a voided check. You can access a copy of the form here.

Pay-By-Phone

Payments can be taken over the phone by calling 1.800.573.1169.
